Alexander Franklin Smith
In 2004 Alexander F. Smith co-founded and became CEO of True Understanding Ministries of which Balanced Living Counseling Services is a subsidiary. Alexander has served as a leader and director of various church departments, programs, and ministries in Mississippi and Oklahoma. He has also served as phone counselor at Oral Roberts University’s Abundant Life Prayer Tower. Frank Smith has served as a compassionate minister and conference speaker for 20 years . He has served as Pastor of True Understanding Ministries since 2009. Along with preaching and teaching to church parishioners, as a licensed and ordained minister, Frank also provides pastoral/spiritual counseling for those in need.
Elizabeth Conerly Smith, MAMFT, LPC, PhD(ABD)

Elizabeth Smith is President & Director of Balanced Living Counseling Services. She has her Master of Arts degree in Christian Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Oral Roberts University. Elizabeth has twelve years experience in individual, group, family, and couple/marriage therapy. She has trained in residential, inpatient, outpatient, and incarcerated/prison settings of youth and adults including geriatric (older adults). Elizabeth has also provided informal, Christian counseling and other ministry services for 20 years in church/Christian settings. She is a current senior doctoral candidate at The University of Southern Mississippi in Adult Education where she has authored/co-authored educational research papers. She is also a published writer for Healthy Cells Magazine. Elizabeth is Co-founder of True Understanding Ministries of which BLCS is its subsidiary
